Support & Maintenance Plans
What's included in a WordPress maintenance plan?
Every plan includes core, plugin, and theme updates, nightly backups, uptime monitoring, and security scanning. Higher-tier plans add real-time backups, staging-environment testing before updates go live, and more dedicated support and development time each month. Full details are on our Support Plans page.
How much does WordPress maintenance cost?
Our support plans start at $60/month for essential updates, backups, and monitoring, and go up to $295/month for real-time backups, priority support, and quarterly strategy calls. Most small business sites are well-served by our mid-tier plan while businesses that rely heavily on their website find our top-tier plan most beneficial.
Is there a long-term contract, or can I cancel anytime?
No long-term contract is required. Plans are billed monthly, and you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time — changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
If you're on one of our support plans, malware removal and site restoration are included at no extra cost. We isolate the compromise, clean the site, patch the vulnerability that let it in, and restore from a clean backup if needed.
Can you take over support for a site someone else built?
Yes, this is one of our most common requests. We'll do a comprehensive audit during onboarding of your site onto one of our support plans, so we can discover and address all shortcomings and major concerns upfront before beginning the support and maintenance phase.
What web hosting do you recommend?
We have preferred hosting partners that we trust for performance, security, and support. We can recommend the best environment for your specific traffic levels and budget, and even help you migrate if needed.
Development & Design
What is your typical timeline for a custom website rebuild?
Most website rebuilds take about 4–12 weeks from planning through launch. Smaller projects may take as little as 2-4 weeks, while larger ecommerce sites or projects with extensive custom functionality can as long as 3-4 months. Once we fullyunderstand your needs and goals then define a scope, we’ll give you a clear timeline so you know what to expect before getting started.
Do you provide custom video tutorials for managing our site?
Yes, when necessary and appropriate. At the time of launch of a new project, training is provided if there is any custom functionality and short Loom videos are provided for reference. Support clients may also receive custom video tutorials for reference if it is the best way to comprehensively explain a problem and solution.
Can you build on other platforms besides WordPress?
While we specialize in WordPress/WooCommerce, we have experience with Shopify and custom React/Astro applications. We believe WordPress provides the best balance of flexibility for most content-driven businesses.
Do you support custom PHP or complex API integrations?
Absolutely. Our background is in deep custom development. We support complex WordPress environments including custom plugin logic, REST API integrations, and headless configurations.
Site Optimization
Will a website rebuild affect our existing SEO rankings?
Our rebuild process is SEO-first. We meticulously map your existing URL structure, set up 301 redirects for any changes, and preserve your metadata. Most clients see a ranking boost due to the improved speed.
What is your Core Web Vitals guarantee?
Under our Beyond Support plan, we guarantee your site will pass Google's Core Web Vitals assessment with the disclaimer that certain plugins or ad scripts can prevent that and we will advise you of that restriction. All new build projects will include passing Core Web Vitals as a guarantee assuming it is appoved within the quote.
How do you approach mobile optimization?
We build with a 'mobile-first' mentality. Your site is designed to be responsive, lightweight, and thumb-friendly. We optimize assets like images and scripts to ensure the mobile experience is fast and fluid.
Workflows & Agents
How can workflows help my business processes?
Workflows connect the tools you already use so repetitive steps—form follow-ups, inventory syncs, publishing alerts—run without copy-paste. We map what you do today and automate the handoffs that waste the most time.
Do I need AI or agents for automation to work?
No. Many workflows are pure rules, APIs, and webhooks. Agents are optional: we add them when research, drafting, classification, or triage inside a workflow is worth it—with clear guardrails you control.
Is connecting my tools and data safe?
We use secure API connections, limit access to what each step needs, and follow data privacy practices. Agent steps only see what they are allowed to see, and sensitive actions can require human approval.
